AIS COMBAT CENTRE, ACT

Established in 2013, the AIS Combat Centre has quickly become one of Australia’s premier high-performance training environments for Olympic combat sports. Operated by the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), the facility is supported by a dedicated High Performance Management team, working closely with National Sporting Organisations to develop and prepare elite athletes on the world stage.

Designed to accommodate multiple disciplines simultaneously, the Combat Centre features 1,320m² of flexible training space and world-class infrastructure, including international competition-standard boxing rings, wrestling mats and extensive judo and multi-use matting systems. The facility serves as the national high performance training base for Judo Australia, Boxing Australia, Wrestling Australia and Fencing Australia.
